The Real Traitors

Sometimes, on forums, and occasionally in real life; I angry at rednecks and am asked why I am so and the Republican slime they elect to office.

Well, here's why:

The very definition of hypocrisy is witnessed right here in Idaho. Where is the outrage by all these rednecks over the Republicans blocking of Jim Webb's amendment that would give our soldiers more leave time?

I watched some coverage this weekend of the anti-war demonstrations in DC. There were also counter demonstrators, the "support the troops" morons, and saw one guy with a sign calling the peace people "traitors". Really dude? I wish I could meet that guy and others of his ilk in person. I would like to educate him on the facts:

1. The Republican, pro-war party sent our soldiers into Iraq on a whim, without adequate body armor.
2. The Republican, pro-war party has used to constant deployments, tour extensions, and the National guard which is not even for foreign combat (by their very nature they're a new name for the state militia system, used to protect us domestically) to avoid reinstating the draft because that wouldn't be politically savvy.
3. The Republican, pro-war party is keeping our soldiers in a foreign civil war, where they don't know enemy from friend, where they are forced into a kill or be killed situation; if they come home alive, if they come home with their limbs, more and more are coming home missing a piece of their sanity.

Those are cold hard facts. You red white and blues Christian fascist bastards are not only culpable in the deaths of over 5000 brave American soldiers, tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians, but you're also to blame for tainting a whole new generation of Americans with the horrors of another unnecessary war.

And those bozos you keep electing can't even give them leave time equal to the lengths of their deployment because a Democrat came up with the bills.

You bunch of worthless traitors. Traitors wrapped in flags. The worst fucking kind.

For Those About To Be Offended

I am an Idahoan. I live in one of the most beautiful and pristine areas of the country. I am a liberal, and thus a stranger in a strange land, in some ways. Its not that I don't like my neighbors. They are good people, with good intentions. As a white male heterosexual, they mean me no harm. We live a good life here, though extremely poor and it is worth all the sacrifices. Still, I feel like I have to do something say, something. Every time I see a Bush/Cheney sticker plastered proudly on the back window of somebody's SUV (and believe me this is an every day occurrence even when I don't leave my small town of 350 souls) I want to jump in front of them and chew them out. I want to ask them how can they support throwing obscene amounts of money at an unnecessary "pre-emptive" war in Iraq but they can't spend a fraction of that to ensure that every man, woman and child born in the U.S. can have access to high quality, free, medical treatment. I want to ask them why an unborn fetus is worth more to them than the tens of thousands of children murdered during George Bush's "shock and awe" invasion. I want to ask them why they keep voting for fraudulent self-loathing bigots like Larry Craig instead of the good, but humanly flawed candidates the Democratic party puts up. Is it just because your preacher tells you to? Chances are, he's a closet fag too. These are things I want to do, but I don't, out of a certain kind of decorum, I guess. So this blog is for me to blow off some steam, and most people are going to get offended; if they even read it, which they probably won't.

Here is a short list of the people I intend to offend, so in your hate mail you at least can't say you weren't warned:

Flag-wavers: We were all born in America. You don't have to announce it constantly. The irony is most of the flags I see are made in China.

Pro-lifers: Unless you're against the death penalty and war, you're not pro-life. You are just against a woman's right to make her own moral decisions. That's about as anti-American as you can get.

Flamboyant homosexuals: I realize you have the right to be who you are, but you make it goddamned hard to fight for your rights when you're scaring the crap out of middle America.

Trust fund hippies: If you're a true leftist take all your daddy's money and donate it to Darfur.

Creationists: Don't even get me started on these idiots.

P.C. Police: I like words, all words. I will call a midget a midget, a black a black, and any female sports team a bunch of nappy headed hos. There are no bad words and if you believe there are, you are one of the freedom hating fascists who are destroying this country. Fuck you.

All political parties and politicians: No matter who you are, if you're in politics you're goal seems to be to lie, lie and lie. Expect my ire no matter what the letter behind your name.

Humans, in general: We are the most dangerous and destructive species to ever walk this earth.
